How To Stitch (Enlarge) Photos..

So I got a couple of emails asking me how to stitch photos together..
and I decided to make a blog post instead of answering it 10 times lol

First of all, I would like to point out 3 things:

. You have to be in manual mode so that the exposure
would be the same and you wont have any problems

. Unless you have experience in doing this, use a tripod
in order to make sure that everything will align.

. Always try to overlap the parts and not just the edges
by doing this, you make it easier for yourself to erase
the parts instead of having white gaps..

So here is how to stitch

~

This is a sky image composited out of 8 pictures:

I normally like to start with the center image..
but to make it easier for you, I'm gonna start with the corner..

Then I start adding the images as I took them side by side..
(I didn't use a tripod for this one, thats why they don't align at the top)

Then I added a Layer Mask and started erasing the
edges where they overlayed so that I wouldn't get any hard edges.

You can see some exposure difference on that top one..
this is mainly because I was shooting through glass..

After I went around the whole image..
I made sure all the edges are softened :)

Then I added some contrast (S curve)

then adjusted the curves on the yellow part
(Bottom right)

Then top left.

and then its done : )

Rays of Hope.
